Special orders made this date relieve Lieutenant Colonel George C. Marshall from duty with the First Division and direct him report to Chief of Staff AEF for assignment to other duty. On completion of the relief of the First Division from the front line direct Colonel Marshall to comply with this order. Travel directed is necessary in the military service.
