Various memorandum regarding the preferred position of the Manhattan District project for receiving resources. The War Production Board, in 1944, was in charge of scheduling and providing supplies to various war efforts. In February the Board gave preference to the High Octane Program and the Landing Craft Program despite direction by the President that the Manhattan project be accorded the highest priority.
