Epley Letter – 1944 – Father’s Day
This is in the way of a Father’s Day letter to you, although it won’t reach you quite on time. But late or not I want to wish you the very best, Dad – although that sounds a little too formal for a boy to say to his own father. It’s awfully hard to put in words, the feeling I have for you, but I could sum it up by saying I think you’re the best Dad a kid ever had. I only wish I could be home now and tell you personally.
