Arrival of the first Marshall Plan sponsored Technical Assistant Team from France in New York, August 19, 1949. This team consists of 17 representatives of France’s heavy electrical equipment industry who spent six weeks in the region of Philadelphia and other American cities observing American methods which might be adapted in France in increase productivity in their industry.
