Black and White Digital Photo File (jpg)
Marshall Plan aid to the amount of 3,300 million counterpart francs helped modernize some 200 dairies in France in 1949, furnishing equipment for improved pasteurization and bottling of milk. Among others, two dairies in Lyon profited from this program by setting up bottling plants which provide Lyon with bottled milk since the fall of 1949. Lyon was the seventh city in France to have bottled milk.
