You went farther than either of these two kids brothers in high school and you’ll go farther than them in the service too. I am not just sitting here blowing off steam because I am in that mood. I mean every word of it from the bottom of my heart. You’re the best brother a kid every [sic] had and I am damn proud of you. Art M’s or John K’s brothers have never written[sic] home and said all the swell things about their brothers that you said about me in your letter. I appreciate all the things you said about me Emmett and glad to know that I have a brother that thinks so much of me.
