Lieut. Allen Tupper Brown who was killed in a tank action near Campoleone, Italy, at 10:00 am May 29, 1944. Lieutenant Brown was the youngest son of Mrs. George C. Marshall, wife of the Chief of Staff.

Lieutenant Brown married Madge Shedden of New York City in June, 1940, and has one son, two and one-half years old. He attended school at Gilman’s in Baltimore, Woodberry Forest in Virginia, and the University of Virginia at Charlottesville, VA.
