Summary: Students analyze papers from Marshall’s correspondence, 1939-1944, for insight into Marshall’s responsibilities and character during the World War II years.

Goals: First, to provide an insider’s look at key events of World War II. Second, to highlight key character traits worthy of emulation. Traits include both the personal (self-discipline, hard work, honesty) and the social (kindness, compassion, fairness, gratitude, and respect).
