Adult Scavenger Hunt

May 9, 2015

Why should kids have all the fun?

Join us at the Marshall Museum for an Adult Scavenger Hunt at 11:30 am on the following Saturdays: May 9th and June 20th.  Make reservations by calling Leigh McFaddin at 463-7103, ext. 138.

Teams of two or three adults will be formed in the Marshall Museum and given instructions for the Codebreaking Scavenger Hunt. Each team will be given a secret code which, when broken, will serve as a clue to their next stop on the Scavenger Hunt. The codes will be written in the spirit of William Friedman, the master code breaker who served in the US Army during WWII.

The teams will attempt to break four codes, with the first team on each occasion to arrive at the finish line being declared the master codebreakers of Lexington.

All participants will also receive a complimentary set of William and Elizebeth Friedman’s Christmas cards that were written in code and led the recipient to uncover a Christmas surprise.

If you miss this event, please join us again on June 20th.
